Munrae-dong chicken restaurant: half-and-half nurungji, Jangjakgun
Jangjakgun Munrae is a wood-fired nurungji chicken restaurant near GS Gangseo Tower in Munrae-dong, Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. A couple stopped by after work on a Friday and ordered the nurungji chicken (chicken roasted over firewood on crispy rice crust) half corn-cheese and half seasoned, served on a hot stone plate with soju; the cheese still stretched at the last bite and even the breast meat stayed tender. They called it the best chicken they had eaten in Yeongdeungpo and decided to become regulars at Jangjakgun Munrae.
