Seoul Station shabu-shabu restaurant with naengi broth: Yunseul

Yunseul is a shabu-shabu restaurant on the first floor of Grand Central in Jung-gu, Seoul, overlooking Seoul Station Plaza. We visited with the kids for doenjang-naengi broth, prime beef, kalguksu, and bulgogi kimchi fried rice; the naengi aroma was strong for the children. Verdict: Yunseul is a polished choice for a family meal or gathering near Seoul Station.

Jongno Korean restaurant with kids’ meals and private rooms: Modam Dining

Modam Dining Gwanghwamun is a Korean restaurant with private rooms in Jongno, Seoul. We had the ₩32,000 bori-gulbi set and ₩35,000 abalone tteokgalbi set, and the thoughtful children’s tableware, rice, and beef radish soup made the visit easy with kids. Verdict: A lovely choice for a quiet family Korean meal near Deoksugung.
