Daehangno pasta restaurant with table-bell ordering: Omil Hyehwa

Omil Hyehwa Daehangno is a small Western-style pasta restaurant on the second floor of a building in Jongno, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Hyehwa Station Exit 4. On a weekday lunch with a friend, the writer ordered spicy pollock roe oil pasta for 18,900 won, salmon steak gnocchi for 19,900 won and an Oh! Basil & Tomato ade for 7,900 won, and the owner added a soba maki (buckwheat noodle roll) on the house. Between the table bell you ring to order and the cozy room, Omil Hyehwa Daehangno works just as well as a Daehangno date spot.
