Gangseo Japanese restaurant for hamburg omurice with kids: Ichigyu

Ichigyu Balsan Station Branch is a Japanese sirloin gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant a two-minute walk from Exit 1 of Balsan Station in Gangseo, Seoul. Tired of ordering pork cutlet for the kids, the writer went for the sirloin gyukatsu and hamburg omurice instead, searing each slice with Isigny butter on the tabletop charcoal grill and sharing the thick hamburg steak and fluffy omelet rice with their child. Ichigyu works just as well for a family meal out as it does for a date.
