Rainy-evening couples perfume workshop in Anguk: last slot at Muhwawon
Muhwawon Bukchon Perfume Workshop (무화원) is a hanok-style perfume-making studio near Anguk Station Exit 4 in Jongno, Seoul, inspired by the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung Palace. On a rainy weekend evening, a couple took the last slot, smelled 48 Korean scents such as hanji paper, temple incense, Korean medicinal herbs and omija (five-flavor berry), and blended their own perfumes in about 1 hour 30 minutes with headset and tablet video guides and one-on-one feedback from a perfumer. Muhwawon is an easy rainy-day indoor date in Seoul to pair with Bukchon and Seosulla-gil.
