Magok Korean restaurant with beef seaweed soup and Jeju crab: Mikodam
Mikodam Magok-Balsan Branch is a Korean set-meal restaurant in Magok, Gangseo, Seoul, a short walk from Balsan Station, where the side dishes arrive neatly plated. On this second visit the order was built around dishes skipped last time — the 46,000 won set for two with beef seaweed soup, cockle salad in vinegar dressing, and Jeju yellow crab — and the beef seaweed soup had a deeper broth than the abalone version, while the Jeju yellow crab came packed with meat. With side dishes refilled by tablet and a parking tower beside the building, Mikodam is an easy choice for a meal with parents.
