Cleansing balm for dry skin and blackheads: HEEDA Charcoal

What were the texture and scent like on dry skin?

Because I have dry skin and usually wear a lot of makeup, I consider the cleansing step important. When I first opened it, it had a subtle charcoal scent, and the texture was soft and creamy. It felt as though it melted in as I scooped some out and spread it over my face.

How did I use HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm?

• I spread it evenly over a dry face.
• I massaged areas where blackheads and pores concerned me in circular motions with my fingers.
• After lightly massaging heavily made-up areas, I added water to emulsify it.
• I rinsed it off thoroughly with lukewarm water.

There was a spatula inside the container, along with a place to slot it in, so it was easy to store.

Did it remove heavy makeup well?

I tend to wear fairly heavy makeup, but it removed everything from my eye makeup to my lip makeup in one go. I also felt that I could cleanse around my eyes and mouth without irritation.

How did I care for areas with blackheads?

After applying the cleansing balm, I gently massaged areas where blackheads concerned me, such as around my nose and beneath my chin. When needed, I would place a steam towel over my face after applying it, then wash with cold water at the end.

How did my skin feel after washing?

After washing, my skin felt clean but less dry. It was nice to use on days when I wanted both makeup removal and a moisturizing finish.
