Ongdarae Jjimdak is a jjimdak (braised spicy chicken) restaurant in Hongdae, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station. I visited with my parents and ordered the signature Ongdarae Jjimdak L size plus a crispy rice (nurungji) addition for 40,000 won total, and the sweet-spicy adjustable sauce plus the free scone-and-coffee dessert zone after the meal stood out. With group rooms available too, it's a solid pick for both family meals and work dinners.
