Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu Gran Passage Branch is a shabu-shabu and kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup) restaurant on the 2nd floor of Gran Passage, near Dongtan Lake Park in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. After a short wait on a weekend evening, the spicy shabu kalguksu for two arrived as a full course — shabu-shabu, dumplings, noodles and fried rice — with the kimchi refilled several times. With mostly 6-person tables in a wide hall and 3 hours of free parking in the building, Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu suits family dinners and group get-togethers.
