What is the texture of HEEDA cleansing balm like?
When I first scooped it out, it was a firm black balm. It softened quickly with the warmth of my hands, and when spread over my face, it felt as though it turned into an oil.
It was easy to scoop out the amount I wanted, and once melted, it spread smoothly without feeling burdensome while cleansing.
How did I use the cleansing balm?
Before cleansing, I first dried my hands and face, then scooped out an appropriate amount. After spreading it over my whole face, I gently rolled it over my skin as though massaging so that my makeup could melt away.
Around my eyes and lips, I applied the product and let it melt gently rather than using pressure. Even for someone using a solid formula for the first time, seeing it soften with body heat made the method easy to understand.
How did I emulsify and rinse it?
I added water little by little and rolled it over my skin again to emulsify it, then rinsed with lukewarm water. It changed into a different-feeling formula from the original black balm, which made it easy to wash off.
I felt it was important to follow the order of rolling, emulsifying, and rinsing thoroughly.
I rinsed thoroughly so that no residue remained after cleansing. If you are looking for a soft formula for the first cleansing step on days when you wear makeup or sunscreen carefully, this could be worth considering.
