Rainy-day ramen with refillable yuzu radish at Mentsuru, Gwangjin
Mentsuru Children's Grand Park Branch is a ramen restaurant in Gwangjin, Seoul, right by Exit 4 of Children's Grand Park Station, with a high share of solo diners and seating from bar tables to an 8-person communal table. On a rainy day, the writer ordered spicy shoyu ramen, tori paitan and ramune, refilled the yuzu pickled radish four times, and finished with free rice stirred into the leftover broth. Good for a date or a solo meal, and easy to pair with beer.
