Pyeongtaek kalguksu with a ₩5,000 veggie add-on: Songdam Kalguksu
Songdam Kalguksu is a shabu-shabu kalguksu (Korean knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant on Gangbyeon-ro in Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. On a weekday evening a couple ordered two beef kalguksu and received only broth and meat, so they added vegetables for ₩5,000 and shared kimchi meatball dumplings and yeolmu (young radish) barley rice. At ₩8,000 a bowl with cheap add-ons, Songdam Kalguksu was worth a second visit just three days later on the weekend.
