Hongdae restaurant in Seoul open two weeks, pork-only broth: Anok

Anok is a hanok gomtang and Pyongyang naengmyeon restaurant in Hongdae, Mapo-gu, Seoul, about 340 meters from Hongik University Station Exit 9 toward the university's main gate, and it had been open only two weeks at the time of this visit. The dinner covered clear gomtang (bone soup) made with pork only, 100% buckwheat Pyongyang naengmyeon served geo-naeng (lukewarm, not ice-cold) with free broth refills, and a first-ever plate of braised pork tail. Portions at Anok were so generous that a third of the pork tail went home in a takeout box.
