Incheon Korean BBQ with beef tartare and rib risotto: Nocheongol
Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch is a charcoal-grilled seasoned pork rib restaurant on Buheung-ro near Bupyeong Market Station in Incheon. Visiting with a pregnant friend, the writer ordered two servings of seasoned pork ribs, the signature Korean beef tartare (hanwoo yukhoe), soy-bean-paste short rib risotto known as "drinking rice," and an extra bowl of rice, and staff grilled the meat at the table so the conversation never stopped. The seasoned raw crab side dish was good enough to justify that extra rice, making Nocheongol a place that covers a full meal from meat to rice.
