How did I use the HEEDA charcoal cleansing duo?

On my combination skin, I used the charcoal cleansing balm as my first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser introduced as containing charcoal and hyaluronic acid. I used this double-cleansing routine when I wanted to wash away sebum, fine dust, and sunscreen that had built up during the day.

What was my cleansing balm routine?

I spread the cleansing balm over my dry face, then rolled it with my fingers, focusing on areas where blackheads and pores concerned me. I used it on point-makeup areas as if massaging them, added water while continuing to roll it, and finished with lukewarm water.

On tired days, cleansing with the balm alone felt convenient. It had a soft balm texture with a black charcoal color, and I used it mainly around my nose.

How did my skin feel after double cleansing?

Using the foam cleanser after the cleansing balm made my skin feel clean and refreshed without having to wash with foam cleanser several times. After cleansing, the surface of my skin felt fresh without slipperiness, while still retaining a moisturized feeling.

The foam cleanser was said to contain fine charcoal powder, but I did not notice any rough particles or texture while using it. The formula felt soft, with a subtle charcoal scent.

What skin type did I use it on?

I have combination skin with inner and surface dryness, while oil comes through in my T-zone. I ordered the duo because summer sebum production concerned me, and used it mainly around my nose, where pores and blackheads concerned me.

The original product description said it could also be used on sensitive skin, but skin reactions vary by person, so it is best to use it according to your own skin condition.
