Gangneung Hanwoo Chodang Uga is a large beef grill restaurant behind St. John's Hotel in Gangneung, a 5-minute walk from Gangmun Beach, with seating for 150 and 6 private rooms. After a day at Gangmun Beach, the writer came for dinner and ordered two servings of woo-dae galbi (thick-cut bone-in short ribs), grilling the first rack over charcoal at the table while a staff member cooked the second one to a juicy finish.
