Gangneung charcoal grill restaurant: 130g diced sirloin at Chodang Uga
Gangneung Hanwoo Chodang Uga is a hanwoo (Korean beef) and pork galbi restaurant near St. John's Hotel and Gangmun Beach in Gangneung. On the first evening of a Gangneung trip, Chodang Uga's 130g diced sirloin at 40,000 won and 250g pork galbi at 22,000 won were grilled over charcoal, followed by bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) for dessert. The diced sirloin stayed tender despite its thickness, and the pork galbi sauce was mild enough to be worth a second order.
