Hoengseong butcher shop: hanu beef grilled at our lodging with kids
Hoengseong Hanu Jeongyukjeom is a butcher shop on Munhwacheyuk-ro in Hoengseong-eup, Gangwon, open since 1979 and now run by the second generation. Instead of eating at a restaurant, we chose Hoengseong hanu (Korean beef) sirloin and skirt steak at Hoengseong Hanu Jeongyukjeom and grilled them at our lodging, and with the salt, wasabi and chamsauce the shop packed for us, the kids kept saying "it melts in your mouth" and ate nonstop. Beef is laid out by grade so you can pick to fit your budget, making it great value for one family-trip meal.
