Gangneung Korean restaurant with tablet ordering: Saimdang Bueok

Saimdang Bueok is a Korean set-meal (hanjang) restaurant a 3-minute walk from Ojukheon in Gangneung, Gangwon. A wide parking lot sits right in front, and 4- and 8-person tables, tablet ordering and vinyl table covers changed between guests keep turnover fast, so the wait was short; the Saimdang Hanjang for two came with a choice of Chodang sundubu (soft tofu) and miyeokguk (seaweed soup), plus grilled flounder, jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) and homemade side dishes. Even after eating at Gangneung Jungang Market first, the banchan at Saimdang Bueok were clean-tasting enough to finish.
