Songjeong Beach Korean restaurant, dinner after surfing: Songjeongok

Songjeongok Songjeong Main Branch is an abalone pot rice Korean restaurant on Songjeonggwanghogol-ro, near Songjeong Beach in Haeundae, Busan. On a weekend visit around 7pm after surfing at Songjeong, the first floor was full, so we took a window seat on the second floor and ordered the abalone pot rice set for two (19,000 won), a generous spread that also brought gabri bossam (boiled pork wraps), stir-fried squid with pork, and seasoned cockles. When you want a clean, proper Korean meal after a day in the water, Songjeongok works just as well for family gatherings.
