Cleansing balm for dry sensitive skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

Because I have dry, sensitive skin, I prioritize makeup-removing power and irritation during use when choosing cleansing products. I recently tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm for several days.

What were the texture and application like?

It was a black solid balm that I scooped out with the included spoon. With a little pressure, it spread smoothly, and when I massaged it onto my skin, it felt as though it turned into an oil.

Did it remove waterproof makeup well?

When I carefully massaged off the waterproof mascara I usually use, it felt as though it came off without residue. I also saw pencil marks drawn on the back of my hand dissolve when I rubbed in the product.

After massaging once more with lukewarm water and rinsing, there was little slippery residue. I usually cleanse twice, but I finished with a single cleansing step when using this product.

How did it feel on dry, sensitive skin?

Some cleansing products make my face feel stingy, but I did not feel that while using this one. After several days of use, my sebum and dead skin cells seemed somewhat more refined, and my skin texture also felt smoother.

My overall thoughts

• The solid balm texture spread smoothly.
• I checked its cleansing power on waterproof mascara and pencil marks.
• There was little slippery residue after rinsing with lukewarm water.
• I finished with a single cleansing step.
• I felt the texture would be easy to carry for travel.
