Cheongju Korean lunch for five, mackerel two ways: Jeju Badang
Jeju Badang is a Korean grilled- and braised-fish restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building on Seohyeonnam-ro in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju, serving fish from Jeju. Five diners split the lunch special, ordering three grilled mackerel sets with pot rice and two braised mackerel sets with pot rice, then helped themselves to the self-serve side dish bar, where the fried chicken and japchae (glass noodle stir-fry) stood out. With wide parking, baby chairs and a kids' zone, Jeju Badang works just as well for a family meal as for a group lunch.
