Pohang mulhoe restaurant at 3pm for a late lunch: Ppwang Mulhoe
Ppwang Mulhoe is a mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) restaurant on the main road by Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, Gyeongbuk. Arriving at 3pm on a weekend trip to Pohang, the writer ordered squid mulhoe for 20,000 won, half-and-half mulhoe for 20,000 won and shrimp fried rice for 8,000 won, then helped themselves to the self bar's side dishes, tteokbokki and squid soup. The icy, tangy-spicy broth suited the hot weather, making Ppwang Mulhoe a safe pick among the mulhoe spots near Yeongildae.
