Daejeon Korean restaurant for octopus lunch: Chongil Nakji
Chongil Nakji, Tanbang branch (촌길낙지 탄방점), is a Korean restaurant specializing in octopus dishes in Tanbang-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. My husband and I shared the small special nakji bokkeum (octopus stir-fry) for ₩35,000, with rice, cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew), and somyeon (thin wheat noodles). The octopus and scallops were springy without being tough, and the medium spice level was manageable for me.
