Gongdeok pre-concert lunch with seasonal fish pot rice: Usu
Usu is an all-private-room hanjeongsik (Korean course meal) restaurant on B2 of the Lotte Castle President complex near Gongdeok Station in Mapo, Seoul. Before a BIGBANG concert, the writer worked through the Lunch C course at Usu: beef and chicken porridge, three bite-sized dishes, shiitake shrimp with oak oil and zucchini, seasonal fish pot rice, abalone five-color gardenia noodles, and a 1++ sirloin table set. The verdict is that Usu suits meals with elders, hosting clients, or a first meeting between two families.
