How did I use it for double cleansing makeup?
Since I wear makeup often, I first removed it with the cleansing balm and then followed with the foam cleanser as a second cleanse. The cleansing balm alone removed much of my makeup, but I thought residue could remain, so I continued with the foam cleanser.
How did the cleansing foam feel?
My skin is oily but dehydrated and sensitive, so I tend to pay attention to irritation when choosing cleansing products. I did not experience breakouts while using it, and I was satisfied that my skin did not feel especially tight after the second cleanse.
Even a small amount lathered well. After cleansing, it felt as though some moisture remained on my skin.
Did the cleansing balm remove makeup well?
I usually prefer cleansing balms because the greasy feel of cleansing oils does not suit me. This product had a soft texture that was easy to massage over the skin, and I added water to emulsify it before rinsing.
Even when I used it without separately removing my eye makeup, I saw that it removed most of my makeup. It contains fine charcoal particles, and I felt that it seemed to help wash away sebum and impurities.
Were the container and spatula easy to use?
The cleansing balm's lid has a spatula attached, so I could use it without scooping out the product directly with my hands. It also did not take much force to scoop out the product with the spatula.
Who might it suit?
It may suit people like me who prefer a gentle cleansing feel, or people who wear makeup daily and double cleanse. However, skin reactions vary by person, so it is best to use it while paying attention to your own skin condition.
