Are they comfortable for winter school drop-offs and pick-ups?
On cold days, I often walk for a long time while taking my child to and from school twice a day, so I needed pants that were warm but easy to move in. I also found myself looking for comfortable pants often when following my child around on weekends.
How did the bootcut shape feel on the lower body?
I tend to carry weight in my lower body, so I usually prefer bootcut, straight-leg, or wide-leg pants over skinny styles. But not every wide pair makes the silhouette look streamlined, so fit matters a lot to me. These had a bootcut line that felt like it helped keep my legs from looking overly bulky.
Do they work as everyday clothes without looking like activewear?
Everlast has a strong activewear image, but these fleece-lined bootcut pants had a neat fit rather than looking like joggers. Even worn casually, they felt closer to everyday wear or an office look than an outfit for going to work out.
The hem length fell without being excessive, and it did not feel overwhelming on me even though I am on the petite side. I got the impression that taller people could wear them too.
How did the waistband and fleece lining feel?
The waistband held me comfortably without squeezing. The bootcut shape made my legs look longer, so it was nice for creating a more streamlined lower-body line, and the thick fleece lining felt warm.
Were they okay to wear on their own in cold weather?
