Foam cleanser for very dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

How did it feel on very dry skin after cleansing?

My skin has been especially dry lately, to the point that my face felt as though it might crack after cleansing. As someone with very dry skin, I used it for my nightly cleanse for about a week and did not feel the tightness I used to notice before applying toner; my skin also felt moisturized after washing.

In particular, flaking beside my nose seemed to occur less often, and I felt my makeup applied better after cleansing than before. However, these are personal results on my own skin.

What were the lather and texture like?

The formula was black when first squeezed from the tube, but turned into white foam when I added water and rubbed it together. It had a creamy, bouncy texture, and building up the lather was easy.

When I applied the foam to my face and used it as though massaging, it felt soft and smooth as it glided over my skin. I felt that it rinsed away without residue, and although it contains charcoal, it did not feel strong or irritating to me.

Was it suitable for someone sensitive to fragrance?

When I opened the cap, I noticed a subtle, fresh scent. I am usually sensitive to fragrance, but I found it comfortable rather than overwhelming.

How am I using it after one week?

I rinse with water in the morning and cleanse with this product every evening. Even with dry skin, it feels comfortable after cleansing, so I plan to keep using it.
