Yangjae Station grill restaurant with dakgalbi platter: Yanggyegok
Yanggyegok is a Korean grill restaurant right in front of Exit 4 at Yangjae Station in Gangnam, Seoul, where dakgalbi (chicken ribs) is grilled over charcoal at the table rather than on a griddle. The meal started with the dakgalbi combo platter of salted dakgalbi, chicken cartilage and deodeok (mountain root), then added soy sauce dakgalbi 300g and deulkkae bibim makguksu (perilla cold buckwheat noodles), with four sauces to dip between bites. Yanggyegok is worth remembering when you want smoky charcoal flavor and juicy chicken instead of pan-fried dakgalbi.
