Yeouido Korean restaurant truffle rice pot and loach soup: Modam Urban
Modam Urban is a fusion Korean restaurant in the dining hall of Yeouido IFC Mall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Visiting for a family meal with a child after recovering from the flu, the writer ordered the rice pot of the day, chueotang (loach soup) packed with mud snails, and octopus pasta in blue crab broth, all served with six appetizers and an ogyuk pudding dessert. The truffle-scented mushroom bulgogi rice pot was the standout, and with a private room available, Modam Urban suits engagement lunches and family gatherings with older relatives.
