Dry-skin cleansing balm: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

How did it feel on dry skin in winter?

My skin tends to be dry, so I often feel tightness immediately after washing my face in winter. I used this cleansing balm as soon as it arrived, and I liked that my skin did not feel that tight afterward.

What are the texture and feel like?

The round jar came with a spatula and a separate inner lid, which seemed convenient for hygienic use and storage. Since it had just been delivered, the balm was slightly frozen, but it spread smoothly when I scraped it with the spatula. It was a black formula containing Jirisan charcoal.

It applied smoothly to my skin without irritation. When I applied it to my hand and added water, it emulsified and melted down well.

How did I use it?

• I scooped out a sufficient amount of cleansing balm with the spatula.
• I applied it to the areas to be cleansed, then massaged it with my body heat until it became an oil.
• I rinsed several times with lukewarm water.

Did I notice changes in blackheads and texture?

The product says it helps care for blackheads and uneven texture, but I thought I would need to use it consistently to know whether there was a change. If you have sensitive skin or feel tightness after washing, this may be useful to consider when looking for a gentle cleansing balm like the one I experienced.
