How did I use it on skin with blackhead concerns?

Blackheads that appeared alongside acne in puberty had been one of my insecurities. I tried washing with vinegar and using nose strips too, but they only left my skin peeling or made my pores feel enlarged, so I gave up on them a long time ago. I tried this product at a time when even finding a suitable foaming cleanser had been difficult.

My skin is dehydrated oily skin: dry underneath but oily on the surface. Since it tends to be sensitive and flushed, I first tested it on the back of my hand to see whether this cleansing balm spread smoothly without grains.

What were the application steps and texture like?

Using the spatula secured to the lid, I scooped out the amount I needed and massaged it over my whole face for about 30 seconds. The balm melted on contact with my body heat and turned oil-like; then I added water to emulsify it and finished by rinsing.

When I applied it to my hand, I could not feel any grains, and it spread smoothly. It turned white when wet hands touched the product, but when I opened the lid later, it looked black again.

How did the area around my nose look after the first use?

Because I wanted to check the difference, I used only the cleansing balm that day and finished with water, without a foaming cleanser. After one use, the skin beside my nose looked cleaner than before, and I was surprised that I could notice a difference without a nose strip.
