Cleansing balm for oily skin with a second cleanse: HEEDA
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a 100ml balm cleanser used on a full face of makeup, followed by a cleansing-foam second cleanse for oily skin. It left the skin, including the sides of the nose, feeling soft and fresh rather than heavy. Verdict: A comfortable option for oily skin when followed with a second cleanse.

How did I use the HEEDA cleansing balm?

I used it with a full face of makeup on. I spread the balm evenly over my dry face, then massaged it with my fingers, focusing on areas where pores and blackheads concern me, such as my nose and forehead.

I lightly massaged heavily made-up areas again, added a little water to emulsify it, and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. There was a spatula inside the lid, so it was convenient to scoop out when my nails were long.

Do people with oily skin need a second cleanse?

I have oily skin, so I followed with a second cleanse using cleansing foam. If the finish feels too much after use, you can adjust by washing once more with the cleansing foam you normally use.

How did my skin feel after cleansing?

The balm texture scooped up smoothly with the spatula, and it spread better when I applied it with my hands. After rinsing with lukewarm water, my skin felt fresh yet soft, and the sides of my nose in particular felt so smooth that I kept touching them.

For oily skin like mine, the finish felt comfortable enough to use without any burden when I followed with a second cleanse.
