Corkage-free Hongdae Korean BBQ, 600g set for two: Gogikkun Gimchunbae
Gogikkun Gimchunbae Hongdae Supgil Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Mapo, Seoul, right on the Gyeongui Line Forest Park walking path. The beef-and-pork set for two — 250g pork neck, 200g rib meat and 150g beef of the day, 600g in total — is grilled entirely by the staff, and while Gogikkun Gimchunbae is corkage-free, we came without a bottle and mixed soju, beer and cider at the table instead. With half-and-half naengmyeon and diced fried rice to finish, the set is just the right amount for two.
