Songdam Kalguksu is a beef hot pot kalguksu (noodle soup) restaurant on Gangbyeon-ro in Anjung, Pyeongtaek. A couple shared a weekend dinner for two, adding vegetables, mushrooms, kimchi dumplings and a plate of beef, enjoying a mild shabu-shabu in wild mushroom broth before turning it spicy with dadaegi (chili paste) and finishing with chive kalguksu. Free barley rice and sulppang (rice cake) rounded out a meal that felt like a full course.
