Incheon bulgogi restaurant, weekday lunch bibim naengmyeon: Dongchuwon

Dongchuwon Bulgogi is a Korean beef bulgogi restaurant with private rooms in Hagik-dong, Michuhol, Incheon. Hearing that even weekday lunches draw a queue, we arrived almost at opening, at 11:09, and ordered Korean beef bulgogi for two, ongsimi mandu (dumplings with rice-flour balls) and cold noodles for dessert, with the bulgogi simmered in broth and the bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) standing out. Baby-friendly seats and a private room make Dongchuwon Bulgogi an easy pick for family gatherings.

Gansuk-dong pork soup restaurant, ear salad banchan and suyuk: Gukdam

Gukdam Sundaeguk Main Branch is a sundaeguk (pork and blood sausage soup) restaurant in Namdong, Incheon, a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Gansuk-ogeori Station, next to Sangincheon Elementary School. At Gukdam Sundaeguk I ordered the taster suyuk (boiled pork), the extra-large sundaeguk and a single portion of the new gopchang (pork tripe) hot pot, and the basic table setting even included gwi-muchim (seasoned pig ear salad). If you want a clear, mild broth, ordering the suyuk alongside the soup is the right call.
