Seohak-dong, Jeonju soup restaurant for families: lunch at Ogeorijip
Ogeorijip is a Korean soup restaurant near Seohakdong Art Village in Seohak-dong, Jeonju, Jeonbuk, serving bean sprout rice soup (kongnamul-gukbap) and Korean beef knee soup (hanwoo dogani-tang). Before a weekend outing, the writer brought her kids for an early lunch at Ogeorijip and ordered the Emperor bean sprout rice soup at 9,000 won and the Korean beef knee soup at 12,000 won, eating the salted shrimp, seaweed and poached egg exactly the way the owner explained. Both kids asked for the knee soup and the rice soup and finished every bite, making Ogeorijip a hearty stop for a family meal.
