Beef belly and pizza at Yeosu shabu-shabu buffet: Tongkeun Shabu
Tongkeun Shabu is an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant on Mangma-ro in Hakdong, near Yeosu City Hall. On the last day of a Yeosu trip, the writer cooked woo samgyeop (thin-sliced beef belly) and vegetables in mala broth and went back for rice paper wraps plus the salad bar's pizza, sushi, naengmyeon (cold noodles), drinks and ice cream, all unlimited. Two kinds of meat and several broths make one meal go a long way, and weekday and weekend prices differ, so check before you go.
