Partition hall seating at a Gwanghwamun hanjeongsik lunch: Modam

Modam Dining Gwanghwamun is a hanjeongsik (Korean course meal) restaurant in the basement of Deoksugung D Palace, near Gwanghwamun in Jongno, Seoul. Ordering the bori-gulbi jeongsik (37,000 won) and the abalone shrimp butter rice jeongsik (40,000 won) with her boyfriend, the writer found partitioned hall tables spaced far apart and a main course that took about 40 minutes to arrive. Fishy-free bori-gulbi and attentive service left her with a 100% intent to return for formal occasions.
