Jadam Chicken Hadong Hwagaejangteo is a fried chicken shop at 4 Ssanggye-ro in Hwagae-myeon, Hadong, right beside Hwagae Market. On a first visit the writer ordered the basic half-and-half chicken (bone-in) and fried fish jerky to go and ate them back at the lodging, and was impressed that Jadam Chicken uses domestic, animal-welfare certified birds for both bone-in and boneless. It is an easy stop for late-night food while travelling around Hwagae Market.
