Sushi near Bonghwangdae Park in Gimhae, with cold soba: Sushi Hwa
Sushi Hwa is a flame-seared sushi restaurant on Bongridan-gil in Gimhae, Gyeongnam. After a walk through Bonghwangdae Park, the writer and her husband ordered the Sushi Hwa Flame-Seared Sushi Set (38,000 won) with half garlic and half spicy sauce, and finished all 27 pieces plus the yuzu dressing salad and the cold soba they chose instead of udon. With a gentle smoky aroma in every piece and two sauces to alternate between, Sushi Hwa makes an easy date lunch on Bongridan-gil.
