Ari Gyegok Jonggak is a Korean pub in an alley near Jonggak Station in Jongno, Seoul. Visiting as a group of four with a friend couple, the writer ordered beef tripe soft tofu hot pot and chicken neck yurinji (crisp fried chicken in tangy sauce); the hot pot broth grew richer the longer it simmered, and the yurinji was crunchy outside and juicy inside. Generous spacing between tables makes Ari Gyegok Jonggak an easy pick for four people settling in to talk and drink.
