Jeju Badang is a Korean restaurant specializing in grilled and braised fish, on the second floor of a building facing the main gate of the Xi apartment complex in Gagyeong-dong, Cheongju. Seats were nearly full even at an early weekday lunch, and the lunch specials — a grilled mackerel rice set and Jeju boneless hairtail stew — came with tidy banchan (side dishes) plus self-serve bar sides and fried chicken. With a large parking lot and a kids' play area in one corner, Jeju Badang works well for a meal with children or parents.
