Go Ok-hui Hwamyeong Main Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Hwamyeong-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, specialising in marinated pork belly. The kitchen fully grills the pork belly and pork skin, then serves them on a cast-iron plate. On a weekday evening when nobody felt like cooking, our family ordered the Go Ok-hui mixed plate for 3–4 people (57,500 won) with aged pork belly, galbi-marinated pork and pork skin. We added shiitake jangbap (seasoned rice), then tried tortilla wraps and pork skin dipped in soybean powder. Because nobody has to man the grill, Go Ok-hui Hwamyeong Main Branch is an easy pick for a family dinner or a work get-together in Hwamyeong-dong.

Even with medicinal herbs in the broth and phellinus mushroom noodles, nothing at Gupo Jjambbong tasted odd, and every dish was clean and never greasy.
