The name 'Onnew' (Onyu) comes from the characters for 'warm' (溫) and 'soft' (柔), and Bakery Onnew Jeju Oedo bakes and sells its bread fresh the same day, every day. Master Lee served as head pastry chef at Jeju Grand Hotel (now Maison Glad Jeju) and at Yeomyeong Bakery, and has also judged national baking competitions.
