Deodogejang serves soy sauce marinated crab and spicy marinated crab made with Jeju yellow crab, along with soy-marinated abalone, octopus and peeled shrimp, as full sotbap (pot rice) set meals. At Deodogejang, each yellow crab shell is opened and cleaned by hand, the marinade is aged with ingredients such as natural fruit, and the spicy marinated crab is seasoned with chilli powder instead of gochujang. Deodogejang states that it uses ship-frozen seafood rather than conventionally frozen seafood and adds no seasoning additives.
