HaNook takes its name from 'Harmonious Nook' and serves traditional Korean liquor, whisky and cocktails alongside Korean bar snacks. HaNook occupies a basement space that reinterprets the structure of a hanok (traditional Korean house) in a modern way, reached by stairs from the building's ground floor. HaNook's signature cocktail Hondonju gives the aromas of traditional ingredients a modern twist, while HaNook's Chusu is a cocktail that captures the image of the season. Whisky at HaNook can also be ordered as a 15 ml half pour, and HaNook offers a whisky tasting course as well.
HaNook builds its bar snacks on Korean ingredients: a tartare of 1++ grade Hanwoo beef round with Dijon, capers and cornichons made with French technique, chilled buckwheat noodles with perilla-oil gim pesto and soy milk gazpacho, chilled boiled pork (naengjeyuk), and a dried persimmon platter (gotgam hansang). For dessert, HaNook serves a perilla oil rice gelato.
