About

Sammiri Makguksu started in 2019 as a makguksu restaurant in Migeum, Bundang, and later opened near Sinsa Station. Sammiri Makguksu does not use factory-made dried noodles; instead, buckwheat noodles 1.3 mm thick are extruded as soon as an order comes in and then boiled, and the name 'Sammiri' ("three millimetres") comes from this noodle thickness.

Sammiri Makguksu serves four kinds of makguksu: perilla oil, sesame oil bibim (mixed), dongchimi (radish water kimchi), and spicy noodles in broth. For the bibim and spicy broth makguksu, Sammiri Makguksu uses a sauce made from fruit and vegetables ground in-house and aged; the perilla oil makguksu uses a blend of aged soy sauce and perilla oil, and the dongchimi broth is also seasoned at the Sammiri Makguksu restaurant. The owner of Sammiri Makguksu is on site and personally handles everything from ingredient preparation to cooking, and the side dishes are boiled whole pork belly, buckwheat crepe rolls and pan-fried dumplings.
