Cleansing balm for dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

How did it feel on dry skin?

I usually find the makeup-removal process cumbersome, so I tried HEEDA Cleansing Balm in a solid balm texture. I have dry skin, and I liked that my skin seemed to retain moisture even after cleansing.

The product description said that finely ground natural charcoal from Jirisan, fired for a long time, was included along with camellia oil and jojoba seed oil.

How did the balm melt and emulsify?

When I scooped out the amount I needed with the spatula and applied it to my skin, it melted softly with my body heat and became like an oil. I tend to wear light makeup, so I used a small amount; for heavier makeup, I used a little more.

My blush came off as I rubbed it in. When I added a little water to emulsify it, it changed into a milky texture, and the process felt gentle without irritation.

Was it convenient to pack for travel?

I found oil cleansers inconvenient because they can spill, but this product was easy to take on trips because its solid texture does not run. I also liked that the spatula lets me scoop it out without my hands touching the product directly.

How did my skin feel after removing makeup?

After removing my makeup, it felt as though a subtle layer remained on my skin, and I felt less dryness. For me, it had a texture that suited dry-skin users who want both makeup removal and a moisturizing finish.
