Hydrating morning cleansing foam: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

How did my skin feel after a morning cleanse?

I have oily-combination skin, wear makeup at least three days a week, and apply sunscreen every day. With my usual cleansing foam, my skin sometimes felt tight after I dried it and was exposed to air, so I would apply my skincare products more thickly.

Even in the morning, I prefer to use cleansing foam because I am concerned about impurities that build up overnight. This product left my face feeling more comfortable, with a hydrated feel after cleansing and no irritation.

How did I use it on makeup days?

On days I wore makeup, I first removed my face, eye, and lip makeup with a cleansing balm, then used this cleansing foam as a second cleanse. For me, it left my skin clean without residue while still feeling hydrated.

What were the foam and finish like?

Because it contains charcoal, the formula is slightly dark in color. I wetted it thoroughly and worked it into a lather before use, and even a small amount produced enough foam to cleanse with.

Rather than a squeaky-clean finish, it felt as though a thin layer of moisture remained after cleansing, like I had sprayed on facial mist. The finish differed from my usual product and felt unfamiliar at first, but I adjusted after about a day and now use it for my morning cleanse.
